Analytics stays off without approval
The foundation marketing site has non-essential analytics disabled. GA4 and PostHog may be enabled only after consent controls, the actual cookie inventory, privacy copy, and a withdrawal mechanism have been approved and tested.
1. What cookies are
Cookies and similar local-storage technologies are small pieces of information stored in a browser. They can support sessions, security, user choices, and—only with consent—analytics.
2. Strictly necessary data
The signed-in application uses Clerk's necessary session and security data for authentication, tenant isolation, abuse prevention, and service delivery. It is not used for marketing.
Necessary data may be stored without separate consent, but its purpose and duration will be documented before production. Blocking it in the browser may prevent sign-in or service operation.
3. Analytics and optional storage
Google Analytics 4, PostHog, and other non-essential analytics are not loaded before active consent. Rejecting must be as easy as accepting, and choices are not preselected.
When analytics is enabled, this page will list actual names, providers, purposes, durations, and transfer details. Consent records are stored only to demonstrate the choice.
4. Managing choices
Users can open privacy settings from the footer at any time and change or withdraw consent as easily as it was given. The settings button remains available after a choice is saved.
Cookies can also be removed in browser settings. That does not replace the service's withdrawal control after analytics is enabled.
